Aims of the project

  • The goal of the project is the development of a test for the quick detection and characterization of sepsis relevant pathogens.
  • The detection will be realized by a parallel readout of a microarray based on local surface plasmon resonance (LSPR)
    • Development of a modular measuring system
    • Hyperspectral imaging spectrometry based on Fourier transform spectroscopy for the parallel readout of the microarray
    • Substrates with modified nanoparticles serve as microarray
    • Tests with sepsis relevant assays for clinical diagnostics
  • Installation of a demonstrator with all required components and test of the device on clinical samples
